Today I am going to share with you a few photos I took during my Christmas holidays I spent back home in Slovakia. Don’t worry, there are no Christmas trees, traditional Christmas meals or snowy countryside. Only something much sweeter and cuter:)
My best friend Zuzana who already has one really handsome son Luki, who’s going to be three years old later this year, gave birth to another cutie called Adam just few days before Christmas, so I was super excited to go home for Christmas to see all of them again and some of them for the first time;)

So here we go… the last 2011 wedding. It was a small but perfect wedding. But let’s take it from the start.
Ger and I used to work together at Boston Scientific for about a year, but he was unfortunately let go in a downsizing move. Not one to sit on his laurels he packed his bags, and he and his girlfriend Aedín went to Wales (not Scotland, as I wrote in their
engagement shoot blog post ) and started to study to be achiropractor. I hadn’t heard from him since.
It was only while I was on my holidays on Fuerteventura last September, I got an email from him saying that he’s getting married and if he remembers correctly I was taking photos back when we worked together. It took me a while to remember who Ger was, because there were a lot of people coming and going back then, but when I realized who he was I started to be super excited, because I knew that if Ger is getting married, his wedding is not going to be very traditional. And I loooove anything non traditional:)

It was a beautiful, but frosty Friday morning when I left the house to drive to Enfield to document Ollie and Breeda’s wedding (their engagement session is here). After I skidded few times on the treacherous local road I hit the motorway and about two and a half hours later got to Breeda’s parents house.
The atmosphere in the house was very relaxed, Breeda already had her hair and make up done so there was plenty of time to take all the detail shots,a few candids of her getting ready and we also did a few group photos of Breeda’s family, to save some daylight later on for Breeda and Ollie’s photos and Ollie’s family group shots.

Can anybody please tell me where does the time go? It’s nearly 10 pm almost time to hit the bed, and I still have like 20 things on my to do list for today. I am pretty sure time goes faster now than it went a few years ago. It has to be…. But ehm… nevermind, I’ve just lost about 5 minutes from my precious time writing meaningless things… So.. let’s write something that will make more sense.
Ger & Aedín,a cute couple who’s wedding was the last one I did in 2011. And what a great ending to the year it was. But more on that in another post.

I know, I know.
I am a little bit late with this one. I have been planning on writing this post for about three weeks now. But I went back home to Slovakia to spend my Christmas with my family and friends so as you can imagine after not seeing any of them for nearly a year, there were way too many things to talk about, way too many pieces of news to share and way (way) too much great food to eat:)
The truth is that I did came back to Ireland 10 days ago, I just didn’t find the time to do this before. Shame on me I know. But nevertheless here we go.

I didn’t have too much free time lately, so despite the fact that I had the photos from this shoot ready for the last week, I wasn’t able to post them. But as Ollie and Breeda are getting married this Friday, I though that I should really, really do the blog post from their engagement which we did couple of weeks ago. I’m going to keep this blog post short and sweet due to lack of time on my hands.

Hmmm what shall I say about the sweet Palmer family? We already know that they are super cute, don’t we? Well if you didn’t know this, you should check out the engagement session we did together, which was super cute. I think my whole reason for ranting about how super cute and super sweet they are, is highly affected by the fact that they have a super sweet and cute son Dylan:) Ok I will stop this and start writing something more relevant and hopefully also interesting.
As some of you may know I chose Bryan & Zena as the winners of the competition I ran back in April. I immediately fell in love with them and I fell in love with them even more while we were doing the e-shoot, so I couldn’t wait till the day of their wedding would finally arrive. Not least because of my feelings towards them but also because they chose an amazing boutique hotel, the Hotel Dylan in Dublin as their venue. Not only is this a superb venue, but it has a same name as their son, how cool is that?

Today I just wanted to share with you few photos of the new member of my album sample family. It’s another product from the new product range from famous Queensberry (one of the best album producers in the world). It’s name is Flushmount Press Album, probably because the photos are printed on a photographic paper and then flushmounted on the thick cardboard pages. The difference between this and Matted Press Album are mainly the mats which are missing in the Flushmount. The advantage of this is however that you can print one photo across double spread, which is adding a huge impact to the album and cannot be done in the Matted album.
